Supporting Us

Dear Community Supporter,

The PBNLC has gone through considerable changes over the past ten years including the replacement of forty-two leased acres into a business park. Today we are focusing on enhancing our educational offerings for youth as well as adults and refurbishing our landscape. Through the Knowledge Campaign we are offering supporting memberships to Brainerd/Baxter organizations where half of the cost of the membership is designated towards a scholarship fund. Science is an increasingly important part of a solid education, yet fewer young people have access to outdoor places and adult guidance that strengthen understanding of science processes. Even in a place like the Brainerd Lakes Area, so abundantly blessed with natural resources, students from low-income families find it difficult to have nurturing summer experiences. We are campaigning this summer to raise scholarship funds so that all students can have access to science education.

As the PBNLC is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization all donations are tax deductible. We will celebrate the new community of memberships at the grand opening of our Butterfly Garden in August. You will receive an invitation to this event with your membership packet. Click on the link below to access the Supporting Membership form. Please mail the form or stop by and drop it off; we would like to meet you and show the grounds.

Thank you so much for supporting science based learning for the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Sincerely,

Michael Baumer

Executive Director
